This is the official  webpage of the brand new Middlebury College student organization: the Women's Wilderness Corps (WWC)! The goal of this organization will be to guide trips for elementary and middle-school aged girls from Vermont communities surrounding Middlebury so that they can gain confidence in the traditionally male dominated sphere of wilderness exploration.

This club is still in its infancy, and it needs membership to get started! If you are interested in leading hiking trips for young women in the beautiful Vermont wilderness, then please fill out the survey linked below. Once we have collected an adequate number of willing participants, we will schedule a meeting to get down to the nitty-gritty of forming a club - writing a constitution, drafting a budget, holding elections, etc. This is your chance to become a founding member of an exciting new campus club, as well as to instill the love of wilderness into young women all over Vermont!

Important: Although we especially encourage women to participate in this group, male guides are also welcome! People of any gender and/or sexual orientation are welcome to join this group and lead young women through the wilderness.
